So... eventually this might be good stuff for a competition or a collection so tell me what you think about it.

I have some good inspirational tasks for photographers and illustrators here, it both deals with the subject "unusual self portrait" but - hold on! - it's not the typical blahblah stuff.

PHOTOGRAPHERS: Take a photo of yourself from the neck down.
- Your face is NOT supposed to be on it
- NO masks, that also counts for paperbags and such things, you really have to think about yourself without showing yourself. Trust me that this is really a task!
- Think about what you are. Are you your pen? your shoes? Your hands?

ILLUSTRATORS: If you were up to paint or draw an avatar of yourself, an alterego or whatever, something or someone who is how you want to be, how would he or she look like?
- Rememeber that this is not to be an abstract kind of work that transports you as if speaking about your emotion.
- It is a piece of work that is really supposed to show off how you see yourself.
When you know that you are going to present this to the "public" after it's finished, how would you deal with it? Consider carefully if you really want to strip and show your inner soul.


If this is inspirtational for some of you, you can show off what you already have if you dealt with such things in the past already, or take up to a week of time to finish your stuff and post it here. I will then promote it in my journal. Let me also know what you think because we could eventually build this up into some sort of interesting competition.
